Finesse-Fishing.com has closed and has nothing left to sell, other than a few used books. I have decided to leave the website up as a resource for people interested in fishing with light rods, light lines and light lures - true finesse fishing.

Finesse Fishing Reel Off - Part 3

The reels

The reels

Finally I will touch on the Shimano Conquest BFS, this is the best of new school technology with old school looks and feel. The heaviest reel I have held the solid frame feels great in hand with the slightly inset brake adjustment means you won’t be able to bump your settings on accident. With a classic 6.8 gear ratio and 13 bearings you can’t beat this reel for daily use and abuse. It is the reel you will pass down for generations to come. I love the feel of this reel due to the slight rear balance it gives to the rods you might want to use. If it is in your budget I would highly try to snap one of these up if you love old school round reels but want the best of the best new technology inside.
